Grad School?
Wow, I'm pricing Grad schools and all I have to say is, "Shazam!" Geeze, it looks like Grad school will cost me my left arm AND my right leg. Who needs them anyway...

- Night Birds by Thomas Maltman "Men know nothing about the blood hours between birth and death." Beautiful writing, compelling story about German immigrants and the Great Sioux War of 1862, it takes place in Minnesota
- Fearless Girls, Wise Women & Beloved Sisters Edited by Katheen Ragen Where are all the strong positive females, too many wicked step-moms & witches, too many damsels in need of rescue, is Disney to blame I wonder?
- Wishful Drinking by Carrie Fisher (she has some issues, but who doesn't?)
- Naked by David Sedaris (funny & very twisted)
- Two Old Women by Velma Wallis (An Alaskan legend, short but sweet)
- The Reader (the Grim Reaper tells the story)
- Three Cups of Tea (real life story of what 1 person can do)
- The Color of Water by James McBride (A black mans tribute to his white mother)
- When You Are Engulfed in Flames by David Sedaris (very funny man)
- Social Graces by Platz & Wales (my manners are terrible as my blog will show the whole world)
- Water for Elephants by Sara Gruen (fast read)
- East of Eden by John Steinbeck (modern day Cain & Able)
